3D quoting tools for construction companies

Your customer designs the building. You quote on the spot.

I build custom 3D quoting tools for manufacturers of metal buildings, prefab homes, horse stalls and structures: the customer configures in the browser, the price comes from your rules, and your team sells without waiting on the owner, the draftsman or the renderer.

The problem

Custom quotes shouldn't hinge on one person.

At most manufacturers, the quote goes through the owner, the drawing through the draftsman and the image through a renderer. Every step is a wait, and every wait is a customer looking at another option.

How quoting works today

An 18 × 30 m metal building with a door, from first message to quote.

  1. 01
The inquiry comes in on WhatsApp"How much for a metal building?", no dimensions.
    back and forth
  2. 02
The owner runs the numbersHe's the only one who knows what each part takes.
    when he can
  3. 03
The draftsman draws a planWhich the customer can't always read.
    waiting
  4. 04
A spreadsheet with last month's pricesAnd metal sheeting has already gone up.
    risk
  5. 05
"What if we make it 20 wide?"Back to step 2.
    again
  6. 06
The shop reinterprets what was soldFrom whatever was written in a chat.

With a 3D quoting tool

The same inquiry, handled with your factory's rules.

  1. 01
The customer builds the building in 3DDimensions, cladding, door and color, from their phone.
    live
  2. 02
The price comes from your rulesYour price table, which you update yourself when costs change.
    instantly
  3. 03
The inquiry arrives fully specifiedOn WhatsApp or in the sales rep's dashboard, with a PDF.
    qualified
  4. 04
Production gets exactly what was soldThe configuration is data: exact dimensions, nothing to reinterpret.
    no errors

Try it right here

Every dimension your customer changes is data for your quote.

Move the dimensions of this building. The drawing updates and the quantities are recalculated with the same math the engine uses. In a quoting tool, this is where the price comes from: nothing to interpret.

Autonomy

What no longer depends on one person.

A quoting tool doesn't replace your team: it removes the bottlenecks.

SalesQuote

Waiting for the owner to run the numbers.

Every sales rep quotes with the factory's rules, in the meeting or from their phone.

VisualsShow

Ordering a render from a studio for every variant.

The 3D view generates itself, in any size and color, and downloads as an image.

PricingUpdate

Calling a developer when steel prices go up.

The factory changes one value in its table and every new quote comes out right.

ProductionBuild

Reinterpreting what was sold from a chat.

The shop receives the exact configuration: dimensions, finishes and accessories.

EQUIBOX: the 3D quoting tool of a horse barn manufacturer.

EQUIBOX builds modular horse stalls and barns in Berazategui, Buenos Aires, and sells at agricultural shows, often with no signal. I built their complete system: the public 3D quoting tool, the sales dashboard with pricing, shipping and CRM, and the app that keeps quoting offline.

5layouts: single row, back-to-back, facing, L and U

Who builds it

You talk directly to the person who codes it.

I'm Facundo Campo, a software developer. I design and code every quoting tool end to end: the 3D engine, your product rules, pricing, the backend and the production deployment. No agency in between, and no salesperson translating what you need.

Estructuras 3D is my own parametric rendering engine, and it runs in the browser and on phones. I also make renders and 3D walkthroughs for builders at Recorrido 3D.

3D Configurator for Agricultural Sheds in Ireland

A 3D configurator lets an Irish agricultural shed manufacturer have farmers design a machinery shed, hay shed, slatted shed or stable block in 3D, share it with family and the advisor, and send an inquiry with the dimensions settled.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before ordering one.

01

What is a 3D quoting tool?

It is a web application where the customer builds their product —sizes, finishes, accessories— and sees it in 3D instantly, with the price calculated from that same configuration. It lets a manufacturer sell made-to-order products without a hand-made render or quote for every variant.

02

What is the difference between a 3D configurator and a 3D quoting tool?

A configurator shows the product and lets you change it. A quoting tool adds the price: every choice the customer makes becomes a quote line. The three configurators on this site are the visual part; the EQUIBOX quoting tool is the complete case, with prices, per-kilometer shipping, payment plans and PDF quotes.

03

What products is it for?

Any product made to order with rules: metal buildings, sheds, prefab homes, modular units, horse stalls and barns, pergolas, pools, containers, custom furniture or tents. If the product has sizes that combine, finishes to choose and repeating parts, it can be parametrized.

04

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install. It needs WebGL 2, which every device from the last ten years has.

05

Who builds these configurators?

Facundo Campo, a software developer from Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He builds custom 3D quoting tools and configurators for manufacturers, plus renders and 3D walkthroughs for builders at Recorrido 3D. He works remotely for Argentina, Latin America and beyond.
