Horse Stable 3D Configurator: How to Design Your Barn, Step by Step

Six wooden stalls with a covering shed and the farm sign, built in the horse stable 3D configurator.

In short: The Estructuras 3D horse stable configurator builds a barn of wooden horse stalls by choosing the number, size, layout, walls, doors and covering roof, using the geometry of EQUIBOX's real 3D quoting tool.

This configurator builds a barn of wooden horse stalls in 3D: the number of stalls, their size, the layout, the walls, the doors and the open-sided shed roof that covers them. You can try it here, free and from your phone.

It isn't a made-up example: it's based on the geometry of the 3D quoting tool I built for EQUIBOX, a modular horse barn manufacturer in Berazategui, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm Facundo Campo, and in this guide I explain what you can configure and how to use it.

What you can configure

  • Layout: 1 to 20 stalls measuring 3 × 3, 3.5 × 3.5 or 4 × 4 meters, in a row, center-aisle, facing, or a single stall, with tack rooms, and the option to leave the ends without walls.
  • Walls: solid back wall, with bars, or no wall; side walls in wood or with bars.
  • Doors: standard or V-shaped panel, hinged or sliding, the first one open so you can see inside, and a sign with the name of the horse farm.
  • Finish: the wood finish of the stalls.
  • Covering shed: simple or truss structure, height, profile, concrete, wood or rubber floor, and roof color.
  • Walk through: the camera drops to eye level. Tap the floor to walk, drag to look around, and jump to the spots people show the most.
  • Horses: one in front of the stall with the open door, with a person beside it, and another inside a stall, so the scale reads at a glance.
  • Farm surroundings: a gravel apron, hay bales, round bales, a wheelbarrow, a bucket, a row of poplars and the wire fence with its gate. It can be turned off.

How to use it

  1. Choose the number of stalls, size and layout in the Layout group. The figures at the bottom show front width, depth and floor area.
  2. Type the name of the horse farm in Door sign: it appears on the plate of every stall.
  3. Use Layers to remove the shed roof and see the stalls from above.
  4. Use Day/Night to switch to night and see the light fixtures.
  5. Use Share to send a link that opens that same barn, and Image to download the view.

The real case behind it: EQUIBOX

For EQUIBOX I built the complete system: the public 3D quoting tool where buyers design their barn in a 7-step wizard, with layouts in a row, back to back, facing, L-shaped or U-shaped; the sales panel with prices, distance-based shipping, payment plans and CRM; and the app that keeps quoting with no signal at agricultural shows. It's all covered in the EQUIBOX case study and in horse stable 3D quoting tool.

This public configurator doesn't show prices. If you build horse stalls, barns or pens and want one with your own models and your price list, see how a custom build works or message me on WhatsApp or by email.

Frequently asked questions

What can I configure in the horse stalls?

The number of stalls, from 1 to 20; the size; the layout in a row, center-aisle or facing; tack rooms; the back and side walls; the door design and mechanism; and a covering shed with its height, floor and roof.

Is it based on a real product?

Yes. The geometry comes from the 3D quoting tool Facundo Campo built for EQUIBOX, an Argentine manufacturer of modular horse barns, which also calculates prices, distance-based shipping and payment plans.

Can I put the horse farm's name on the door?

Yes. The Door sign field writes the name on the plate of every stall, and it shows up in the rendering and in the image you download.
